3rd Sunday of LENT

“If today you hear his voice, harden not your heart.” Prophetic words. “The mercy of the Lord never comes to an end,” Scripture says. Whether God is merciful and faithful should never be a question. But this week’s readings warn all of the deceitfulness of sin and how it can harden our hearts. It can leave us blind to our need for mercy. Worse, it can harden us to the point that we no longer want God’s mercy! Keep your heart pure before God by remaining in his love and grace. That is the only path to life and peace.
